It is a 3 level resort building with luxurious hospitality in a premium tourist location near Statue of Unity.
The primary requirement was to measure initial on-site concrete strength so that stressing of PT cables carried out as earliest.
The most important factor was the time limit and that to without affecting the Quality Standards.
In order to achieve the time bound construction cycle, it was suggested to construct P-T floors.
Later, PTSI had introduced the SmartRock system to the management showcasing the economic benefits and how it saves the days for the entire project. During this meeting, the additional advantages of the SmartRock system were explained. The initial motivation for using the system was to enhance the project’s critical path. In addition, SmartRock also enhanced the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives of the project
- Since SmartRock readings are available in real-time, the wait time for stressing activity was eliminated.
- Stressing of P-T cables were done in average 4 days after casting which saved 3 to 4 days per floor
- The floor cycle of 15 to 17 days was reduced to average 12 to 13 days per floor
- QA/QC standards for concrete material were considerably maintained with respect to time
